Online E-Commerce Solution
Issue:
Our client had previously retained the services of an ‘online’ expert to create an online presence for her consultancy. Due to legislative changes in her industry, the client now had to think outside the norm to establish multiple income streams, including the sale of information products. The current web site was not of a high quality, the client did not like or want the site to represent her business and therefore told no one about it.
Goals:
The Client needed to have her site redesigned professionally and wanted to be able to sell her printed and downloadable products from her Web site. She also wanted to implement a subscription system whereby her clients could access additional resources, her time and phone support for a fee. This needed to be managed via the Web site and it needed to add value for money.
Solution:
Research was done on Content Mangagement Systems, Subscription software and E-Commerce software, with Joomla selected to provide the backend of the new Web site.
We also created a new design which was then handed over to our Joomla Template expert to convert. Once Joomla was installed and the Template uploaded we then extended the capabilities of Joomla through installing a Subscription Module and E-Commerce Module. We then tested and validated the site before handing over to the client.
