Kylie Short - Director
Named after her daughter, the business began as an answer to Kylie’s desire to have flexibility in her life as she actively participated in raising her children and nurturing her family. Her passion to help others is fuelled by the immense joy Kylie feels in being a business owner herself.

As a virtual business owner, Kylie understands the special challenges associated with establishing an online presence. Specialising in providing administrative, online marketing, e-newsletter design, Web site design and technical support to small business owners working from home, Kylie will show you how to reach your potential and experience feelings of accomplishment only possible when you take charge of your life and your business.


Deirdre Shockley - Project Manager

Deirdre joined Tilda Virtual in November 2007 and has since become an extremely valuable member of our team. Her speciality is working with other Virtual Assistants and she loves working with everyday administrative tasks. With experience from Pharmacy, Doctor’s offices & Hospitals to training & arranging for Social Workers within the Kentucky State Office, Deirdre sure has an extended array of skills. Finally in 2007, after many years of research & hours of podcasts she started her own Virtual Business. Deirdre has become and integral part of the Tilda Virtual Services Team & we can’t imagine working without her.


Lincoln Short - IT Support
Lincoln has a Bachelor of Information Technology (Computer Science) and over thirteen years experience with systems and infrastructure (SUN Solaris). Currently working fulltime in the education sector, Lincoln enjoys playing with technology and seeing how he can implement it in the Short household much to the exasperation of his wife Kylie. Lincoln provides much needed chocolate and coffee supplies to the team and on occasion is called in to flex his code monkey muscles when perplexing code issues presents itself.


Laurie Dart - Virtual Assistant
Laurie Dart provides writing and editing services to individuals and businesses. Although she specialises in writing press releases, marketing copy, Website copy, articles, resumes and letters, she is also a highly qualified adminstrative assistant here to help you with your general admin needs. She is the author of “The Everyday Guide to Writing Wisely”, an an e-Book featuring tips on grammar and has also co-authored “The Everyday Guide to Writing and Marketing your e-Book Wisely”. In addition to her books, Laurie has also developed “Business Accounting Wisely”, the accounting system for the non-accountants. Laurie has also edited and ghost written e-books, White Papers, Articles, Nominations, Evaluations and Course content.


Lorraine Grout - Virtual Assistant
A self-confessed perfectionist, Lorraine has over fifteen years experience in secretarial and administrative services. She has worked for a variety of organisations from multi-national corporations to small businesses in a range of fields including sales, finance, education, human resources, market research and local government

Lorraine has been writing since the age of nine. What began as a hobby has now evolved into a career. Lorraine holds several awards for her fictional writing and her articles have been published internationally both on the internet and in traditional magazine format.

In a voluntary capacity, Lorraine is currently Minutes Secretary for a local soccer club. She has also been a field member of the NSW State Emergency Services, proofreader for Project Gutenberg and was a founding member - as Secretary - of the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Association of Australia (POSAA).
