Kylie Short – Director (The Boss)
Named after her daughter, Tilda Virtual Services became the answer to Kylie Short’s desire to have flexibility in her life as she actively participated in raising and nurturing her family. Her passion to help others is fueled by the immense joy Kylie derives from being her own boss.
As a virtual business owner, Kylie has a deep understanding of the special challenges associated with establishing an online presence. Specialising in providing administrative, online marketing, e-newsletter design, Web site design and technical support, if you work from home Kylie can help you reach your potential and experience feelings of accomplishment only possible by taking charge of your life and your business.
Melinda White – Project Manager and Number Cruncher
Melinda White has recently given up her day job as a business analyst to work as our Project Manager and we couldn’t be happier. With 20 years of experience in financial services, a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Business and Advanced Diploma of Financial Services and her Cert IV in Bookkeeping, Melinda has already brought plenty of knowledge to the Tilda Virtual Services team as a bookkeeper, but we’re thrilled that she’s now going to be able to manage our projects on a full time basis as well.
Deirdre Shockley – Virtual PA Extraordinaire
Since joining Tilda Virtual Services in November of 2007, Deirdre Shockley has become a valuable asset to the team. Deirdre brings to Tilda Virtual Services more than 20 years of experience working in different office settings and working knowledge of 1ShoppingCart, Dreamweaver, AWeber, WordPress and Microsoft Office applications. This virtual assistant loves handling everyday administrative tasks and she does so with great efficiency and style.
Sally McIntyre – Virtual PA Extraordinaire
Sally McIntyre’s administrative career started ten years ago when she was working as a receptionist. From there she continued progressing through different general administrative roles until the desire struck her to become a Personal Assistant. Eventually, this tenacious Tilda Virtual Services team member started her own virtual PA business and she helps Tilda’s clients by providing email management, diary management, travel arrangements and other services tailored to the busy business owner.
Michele Flynn – Virtual Bookkeeper
Before becoming a Virtual Assistant, Michelle Flynn was busy gaining “real world” administrative experience holding titles such as; legal assistant, tax consultant, office manager and bookkeeper. With a keen interest in numbers, Michelle decided to obtain her Certificate III in Financial Services from TAFE and we’re pleased to have her on the Tilda team providing bookkeeping services including bank reconciliation, inputting invoices, preparing financial statements and reports.
Nancy Seeger – Graphics and Website Design Maestro
Before going “virtual”, Nancy Seeger spent more than 16 years working as an orchestra administrator. To the Tilda Virtual Services team, she brings a wealth of experience in the production and promotion of concerts and events, website design, marketing material creation, international tour coordination and an unparalleled background in arts administration. Tilda is proud to have a team member whose client roster boasts a Grammy winning artist!
Fiona Dixon – Social (Media) Butterfly
Fiona Dixon has operated her own successful online store for years and brings her sharp blogging, SEO and social networking skills to the Tilda Virtual Services team. Her passion for building relationships, networking and providing top notch customer service make Fiona a valuable asset to us and our clients. When our clients need help growing their online presence, it’s Fiona who they work closely with to get the job done.
Jaime Lee Mann – Wordsmith
Jaime Lee Mann is Tilda Virtual Services’s skilled copywriter and ghostwriter and she has the unique ability to mimic almost anyone’s voice through the written word. Jaime writes website content and meta data, sales letters, ebooks and info products, email campaigns, press releases and articles. She does this while keeping the clients’ voice intact and the marketing message consistent. She’s also a great copy polisher, and can take a piece that’s already been written and completely transform it into an effective sales piece.
Lincoln Short – Technology Geek
To Tilda Virtual Services, Kylie’s husband, Lincoln Short, brings a Bachelor of Information Technology (Computer Science) and over thirteen years experience with systems and infrastructure (SUN Solaris). Though he is currently working full time in the private sector, Lincoln enjoys playing with technology and seeing how he can best implement it in the Short household much to the exasperation of Kylie. Lincoln provides much needed chocolate and coffee supplies to the team and on occasion is called in to flex his code monkey muscles when perplexing code issues present themselves.
Steve Gijsbers – Audio Engineer
With over a decade of experience in the audio industry, from live sound production and studio recording to setting up home entertainment systems, Steve Gijsbers is a highly proficient Audio Engineer bringing a wealth of knowledge to Tilda Virtual Services. Aside from taking care of Tilda’s audio needs, Steve mostly concentrates on audio editing and music production for the corporate sector. His current clients include Virtual Assistants, Public Speakers, Conference Administrators and Educational Institutions.
