My phone provider no longer offers any Palm products, I am being directed to a Blackberry. Your post doesn't reassure me at all, but I do have at least 3 other older version Palm's in my cupboard, so like you, I guess I can always pull out one of my them should that occur! Have you heard about the Palm Pre that is supposed to be coming out this year? I would love to get one of them, but it doesn't sound like they may be carried in Canada anytime soon. Good luck!
