Communication: As with any relationship, you need to communicate with your Virtual Assistant clearly and concisely to ensure your tasks are completed to your requirements and on time. When you first begin working with your VA, you don’t yet know it but you are about to embark on a learning curve. How does the VA like to communicate? Is it by email or by phone? What are their office hours? I have something urgent, can I ask my VA to do it for me? These are all questions that you will have in the beginning of your relationship.
