Ok everyone, (and I am assuming that I have readers) I have a secret confession to make……
I LOVE MY TECHNO TOYS
Yes you heard me, I love my techno toys, so much so that I went out on Thursday last week and purchased myself a Palm Treo 750. This little gadget is absolutely amazing!
Code monkey (AKA husband) set it up so it’s connect to our Exchange Server and so I receive my emails, tasks and calendar from there as well as being a great phone. I finally have service INSIDE my house. How weird is this, take a step in the front door and you lose all service. Take a step back out and you have full service. Some people have said to me that maybe its the insulation in the walls (we did pack a fair bit in there) but how do you explain being able to make and receive calls in the under cover car park with all that concrete above you? If by chance you do get service, don’t move your head otherwise you lose it again. Now that I am on the NextG network with Telstra, I HAVE SERVICE INSIDE THE HOUSE.
And I tell you what, my new toy couldn’t have come at a better time. Friday I came down with a severe case of the flu/tonsilitus/bug thing. I couldn’t talk, my whole body ached and I sure didn’t feel like eating. So guess what I did, I stayed in bed, let code monkey look after the kids and slept until I heard my Treo beep at me. Checked the email for urgency and went back to sleep. Can’t get much virtual than that.
Stop shaking you head at me. I can’t help it that I am such a fantastic VA that my client’s can’t live without me. Well ok, maybe they could, but that’s not the point…. it’s a really really cool toy!

I love techno toys too! lol So much so that I have to really exert some control when I go out shopping. And how great that you now have service in your home, where you need it most!
